Consuming Fish Campaign Held at SDN 07 Karang Anyar

Central Jakarta Food Security, Maritime and Agriculture Sub-agency held consuming fish campaign at SDN 07 Karang Anyar, Sawah Besar. The program was participated by 260 students of class 1-6.

Central Jakarta Mayor, Dhany Sukma, said the campaign is as an effort to get the younger generation to be delightful in consuming fish. Consuming fish will have a good effect on children's health and development.

"We try to prepare our children to greet gold generation in 2045," he said, Tuesday (8/6).

Dhany added that this program was also held to overcome stunting. That is why the campaign is focused at densely population areas.

Parents are expected to support this activity and get their children delightful in eating fish. Parents are asked to serve fish or processed fish dishes for their children at least twice a week.

Meanwhile, Central Jakarta Food Security, Maritime and Agriculture Sub-agency Head, Penty Yunesi Widyastuti, explained the program explained about the importance of consuming fish and how to serve processed fish food. There was also quiz for participants.

After participating the campaign, participants were invited to eat fish siomay. Every participants then got fishkatsu and milkfish presto.

"The campaign was participated by 260 students," she explained.
