East Jakarta Administration received Universal Health Coverage (UHC) Award from BPJS Kesehatan, Thursday (8/8). The award was presented by the Vice President KH Ma'ruf Amin at Golden Ball Room TMII.
East Jakarta gets the main category award
Awards for regional heads at the first and second levels around Indonesia was packaged under the theme 'A Decade of JKN-KIS Program for the Nation as Real Manifestation of Regional Government's Commitment in Providing Health Protection for Indonesian People'.
Central Jakarta - BPJS Holds Partnership Forum MeetingEast Jakarta Mayor, Muhammad Anwar, said the award was given since his side is able to reach target 98.78 percent of BPJS Kesehatan participation.
"The activity or premium payment is also part of the assessment. So East Jakarta gets the main category award," he said.
With this award, Anwar hopes that BPJS Kesehatan can improve the quality of its services to the community. So that it is ensured that the community has adequate and prime health insurance.
Meanwhile, East Jakarta BPJS Kesehatan Head, Dasrial, thanked to city administration for supporting BPJS Kesehatan program.
Of the 3.4 million residents of East Jakarta, he explained, the highest is the participation of the PBI segment of the Jakarta Regional Budget, second from PBI wage earners, both government and private. Next are other segments, such as PBI APBN, and independent segment participation.
"There are still 1.5 percent who have not joined with BPJS Kesehatan program. They will be proposed as recipients of city/state budget contribution assistance if they are underprivileged citizens," he explained.
His side will pursue target 100 percent participation with support from East Jakarta Administration.
