Regional Government and BUMD Badminton Championship, Acting Governor Heru: A Form of Cross-Sector Solidarity

Acting Jakarta Governor, Heru Budi Hartono, officially closed the Regional Government and BUMD Badminton Championship, at East Jakarta Sport Building, Jalan Otista Raya, Thursday (8/22). The tournament, which is competing for the Acting Governor of Jakarta Cup, took place from August 19 to 22, 2024.

Heru appreciated the participation of participants. He said that the most important value of this championship is to increase friendship between Regional Apparatus and BUMD as a form of cross-sector solidarity. It is hoped the synergy of them can be even better to provide optimal service for Jakarta residents.

"This is our togetherness in order to strengthen the relationship between Regional Apparatus and BUMD. By saying Alhamdulillah, I officially close the Acting Jakarta Governor Badminton Championship," Heru said, as quoted from Jakarta Provincial Government's press release, Thursday (8/22).

Heru added that the tournament will be held again next year with bigger prizes.

Meanwhile, Jakarta Youth and Sport Agency Head, Andri Yansyah, said the tournament was participated by 400 participants of 52 Regional Working Units and BUMDs. 

The championship competed in three categories, namely the team category (men's doubles, women's doubles, and mixed doubles), the individual women's doubles category, and the individual men's doubles category.

Women's Doubles Individual Category:

First Winner: PT Pembangunan Jaya

Second Winner: Education Agency

Third Winner: East Jakarta Mayor and Health Agency

Men's Doubles Individual Category:

First Winner: PT Pembangunan Jaya

Second Winner: Perumda Pasar Jaya

Third Winner: Youth and Sport Agency, and Education Agency

Team Category:

First Winner: Youth and Sport Agency

Second Winner: PT Bank DKI

Third Winner: Education Agency, and West Jakarta Mayor
