Acting Jakarta Governor, Heru Budi Hartono, officially closed the Regional Government and BUMD Badminton Championship, at East Jakarta Sport Building, Jalan Otista Raya, Thursday (8/22). The tournament, which is competing for the Acting Governor of Jakarta Cup, took place from August 19 to 22, 2024.

Heru Opens Badminton Championship between OPD and BUMDHeru added that the tournament will be held again next year with bigger prizes.
Meanwhile, Jakarta Youth and Sport Agency Head, Andri Yansyah, said the tournament was participated by 400 participants of 52 Regional Working Units and BUMDs.
The championship competed in three categories, namely the team category (men's doubles, women's doubles, and mixed doubles), the individual women's doubles category, and the individual men's doubles category.
