A pedestrian bridge (JPO) that is located at Jalan Raya Tubagus Angke, Wijaya Kusuma Urban Village, Grogol Petamburan Sub-District, West Jakarta, damaged and is very endangering the passing people.

Relaying on beritajakarta.com's data, the bridge that popularly known as Genit Bridge is already porous and perforated. Some stairs had to be fouled as collapsing anticipation.

Deden, (46), a kiosk owner around the bridge admitted the damage has been ongoing since five years ago. "That's why, people should think back to use the bridge," he told, Sunday (5/3).

He also requested related unit to immediately fix the bridge in order to provide safety and comfort for the people.

Responding on this matter, Head of West Jakarta Transportation Sub-Department, Mirza Aryadi stressed the bridge condition is badly damaged and must be fixed.

"We'll fix the bridge soon. Afterwards, another 4 other damaged bridges would also be fixed soon," told Mirza.
