Dengue fever cases in our area have been zero
Mosquito Nest Eradication (PSN) to prevent dengue fever is being intensified in RW 03, Cipete Selatan Urban Village, Cilandak Su-district, South Jakarta.
Cipete Selatan Urban Village Head, Fuad said PSN is a routine activity that aims to reduce cases of dengue fever which can be dangerous to health.
PSN in Duri Selatan Targets 114 Houses"Alhamdulillah (thank God), for the past few months, dengue fever cases in our area have been zero, meaning no residents have been infected with dengue fever," he expressed, Friday (8/30).
Even though there were no more dengue fever cases in his area, environmental cadres and residents were still asked to maintain cleanliness by continuing to implement 3M Plus and independent Jumantik.
"Let's work together to maintain environmental cleanliness, increase independent PSN, and don't just rely on Jumantik cadres. Maintaining environmental cleanliness is not only the government's responsibility, but requires the participation and clean and healthy living behavior of its residents," he explained.
Jumantik RW 03 Coordinator, Cipete Selatan Urban Village, Eka Yunita explained the Larvae Free Figure (ABJ) was 97 percent, where out of 806 houses inspected by Jumantik cadres in the past week, 24 larvae were detected in plant pots and used goods.
"Alhamdulillah, residents already understand what to do to prevent the spread of dengue fever cases. Hopefully, this behavior will become a habit not only for the family environment, but also for the wider community," she said.
