The road users are appealed to avoid Jalan Raya Jatiwaringin, Cipinang Melayu, Makasar, East Jakarta due to piping project runs by Perumda PAM Jaya.

At least there are three areas of pipe drilling excavation with a depth of eight meters along Kalimalang heading to Pondok Gede, Bekasi, West Java and vice versa.

Those three drilling areas are spread in front of gas station RW 05, U-Turn near AURI Complex or Pangkalan Jati 6 intersection, and U-turn of Jalan Pangkalan Jati 6.

Cipinang Melayu Urban Village Head, Arroyantoro, said PAM Jaya has conducted socialization to RT, RW, and LMK administrators on April 29 ago.

"The project is parts of Perumda PAM Jaya's project to reach one million new customers," he said, Tuesday (9/10).

PAM Jaya has also obtained permission for the project of connecting the main pipe with a diameter of 1.6 meters that stretches from the PAM Jaya Buaran installation across Jalan Laksamana Malahayati, towards Jalan Raya Jatiwaringin, to Pondok Gede, Bekasi, West Java. Then turn towards Jalan Raya Pondok Gede, Jalan H. Bokir and connect to the main pipe on Jalan Raya Bogor, Kramat Jati.

"We appeal the road users to take alternative routes to avoid traffic jam," he added.

Usman (43), one of road users, hoped that there will be a solution to minimize traffic jam especially during rush hour in the morning and evening.

"Traffic jam occurs during rush hour in the morning and evening," he admitted.
