Hundreds of illegal buildings which are standing on the park along Sunter River connecting channel (PHB), Jalan Kayumas Raya in RW 04, 05, 07, 08, 09, and 10 Pulogadung, East Jakarta, will be dismantled by local sub-district apparatus.

"All buildings will be dismantled next week. It aims to restore the park as before," said Pulogadung Sub-District Head, Ahmad Haryadi, Friday(5/8). 

He uttered, the demolition has been socialized to building owners since 1.5 months ago. "Those building owners are not given compensation as they have settled the location freely over 15 years," he told. 

Commonly, those buildings are used as business place such as food stalls, machine shops, cigarette stalls, used goods storage.
