Heru Monitors Cheap Staple Food at Rorotan Flat

Acting Jakarta Governor, Heru Budi Hartono, Monday (9/23), monitored the selling of cheap staple food program at Rorotan Flat, Cilincing, North Jakarta. There were 1,500 staple food packages sold there.

Heru said the program was held through CSR program of PT Jakpro, one of Jakarta's Regional Owned Enterprises.

Not only staple food packages, the program also sold food products of Perumda Dharma Jaya, Perumda Pasar Jaya and PT Food Station Tjipinang Jaya.
Since last January, Heru added, he has been travelling to various sub-districts in Jakarta. His visit was aimed to check facilities and monitor social development, area, and cheap staple food program.
"Local urban village and sub-district heads already understand whether the assistance provided is on target or not," Heru added.
Resident of RT 02/14 Rorotan Urban Village, Agus Firmansyah, admitted happy with the program held today. He admitted the program is helpful to reduce his shopping costs.
"The price is cheaper compared to the market, especially for us as mid-low category," he admitted.
