Regional Tax Revenue in S. Jakarta Has Reached Rp 10.55 Trillion

Regional tax revenue in South Jakarta in the period January - September 25, 2024, has reached Rp 10.55 or 70.77 of the set target.

South Jakarta Mayor Deputy, Edi Sumantri reminded all sub-district tax heads and sub-district heads throughout South Jakarta to work together to optimize regional tax revenues.

"Taxes are very important as capital for Jakarta's development. The coordination function is important so that tax revenues can be optimal," he expressed, Thursday (9/26).

He hoped that the receipt of all tax objects in South Jakarta in 2024 was achieved according to the specified target.

"If possible, the acquisition always exceeds the target. So, all people will feel the positive impact of the taxes paid," he explained.

South Jakarta Regional Revenue Sub-agency Head, Hendarto added the regional tax target in South Jakarta this year was set at Rp 14.90 trillion.

Currently, there is a five percent incentive for Rural and Urban Land and Building Tax (PBB-PP2), which is valid until November 30, 2024.

"Hopefully, our synergy between OPDs will become more intense so that tax revenue can reach the target," he hoped.
