During Peparnas XVII, School Bus Serves 801 Passengers

As many as 801 passengers enjoyed the school bus services belonging to the School Transportation Management Unit (UPAS) for Jakarta Transportation Agency (Dishub), during the National Paralympic Week (Peparnas) XVII in Solo, Central Java, from October 1 to 15, 2024.

Jakarta Dishub's UPAS Executing Unit Head, Muhammad Ngasri said one school bus unit that was assigned during the Peparnas XVII provided a pick-up and drop-off service for Jakarta contingent and other provinces from their accommodation to the match area, such as from Lorin Hotel to UNS Manahan FKOR Sports Hall and Manahan Stadium.
According to him, the largest service occurred on October 4, reaching 180 people and on October 5, reaching 150 passengers.

School Bus Driver, Agus Riwayanto (42) added besides from Jakarta other contingents he served included West Kalimantan, East Kalimantan, West Papua, Banten, Jakarta, West Java, Central Java, East Java, DI Yogyakarta, and Riau Islands.
According to him, the contingent that received the service was not only athletes with disabilities. But also the official team and athlete companions who were in normal physical condition.
"We start pick up and drop off from 6.30 AM to 11 PM, depending on the match schedule of each venue," he uttered.
