South Jakarta Food Tenacity, Maritime and Agriculture Sub-agency conducted food monitoring at five markets in Kebayoran Baru and Mampang Prapatan Sub-districts.
South Jakarta Food Tenacity, Maritime and Agriculture Sub-agency's Food Security and Agriculture Section Head, Siti Halimah said the monitoring was held to give food security for residents.

Halimah explained that the five markets that were supervised included Mayestik Market with 24 agricultural samples and seven livestock samples. Then, Radio Dalam Market with 17 agricultural samples and seven livestock samples.
Furthermore, in Pasar Santa, 18 agricultural samples and six livestock samples were taken. Meanwhile, in Ranch Market Kemang, there were 12 agricultural samples and four livestock samples, and in Hero Kemang, there were 10 agricultural samples and four livestock samples taken.
"Totally we took 109 samples and the test results were all safe. The samples were free from formalin and Rhodamine B, as well as other dangerous materials," she explained.
One of the market visitors, Yeni (42), admitted the food monitoring is good. It makes her feel safe when buying commodities in the market.
"Hopefully the monitoring can be held routinely," she hoped.
