According to him, it is part of an effort to fulfill students' nutritional needs and ensure hygiene standards, as well as the provision of a good food menu.
"Each food package has been designed according to the calorie needs of teenagers approaching adulthood, at 750 calories per serving," he explained.
He asserted the Jakarta Government was committed to continuing the MBG trial and monitoring the quality of food provided to meet students' nutritional needs with menus they like.
SMKN 26 Rawamangun Class XII Student, Kartika admitted she was happy to receive free additional food and to have a direct dialogue with the Acting Governor.
"I was a bit nervous at first, because it was the first time I had met and spoken directly to the Acting Governor," she explained.
She admitted that the menu served in the free lunch package tasted quite good and was appetizing.
The same assessment was conveyed by Bagas Aji Saputra, another grade XII student. According to him, the additional food menu was quite a large portion and tasted delicious. So, he immediately ate it all up.
"The menu is delicious, nutritious, and free. That's why I ate it all up right away," he explained.
As for the information, in this activity there are 1,600 food packages provided by Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) PT Food Station Tjipinang Jaya in collaboration with PT Jakarta Tourisindo.
The additional food package given to students at SMKN 26 Rawamangun consists of white rice, teriyaki chicken, omelet, salted chili tofu, vegetable salad, and banana with a total content of 750 calories.
