Jakarta Acting Governor, Teguh Setyabudi accompanied Vice President, Gibran Rakabuming Raka to inspect the construction of the Jakarta Integrated Light Rail Transit (LRT) Phase 1B Velodrome - Manggarai and Cibubur Youth Elite Sport Center (CYESC) in East Jakarta.

After the inspection, Acting Governor asserted the Jakarta Provincial Government continues to support the development of integrated public transportation in Jakarta, such as LRT, Jakarta Mass Rapid Transit (MRT), and Transjakarta, as well as international standard sports facilities to help improve the achievements of national athletes.

According to him, his presence at these two strategic projects was to ensure that construction would run on time. This project is deemed important and very much needed by the community, so the Jakarta Government fully supports the development of infrastructure to support the use of public transportation and other public facilities.
"Earlier, it was said that LRT is one of the determining factors in improving the use of public transportation by the community, which also has an impact on reducing congestion and air pollution. So, we continue to push for its construction to be on time," he added.
Related to CYESC development, he uttered the Jakarta Government was ready to support and welcome the construction of sports facilities specifically for Olympic sports. CYESC would be used as a training center for several sports such as archery, rock climbing, swimming, and gymnastics.
"Hopefully, it can improve the achievements of national athletes, especially Jakarta athletes to make Indonesia proud in international matches. We always support the development program of the central government for the benefit of society," he asserted.
