16 Foreign Stuntmen to Perform at TMII

As many as 16 stuntmen from Italy, Brazil and Spain will perform at Indonesian International Stuntman Show (ISS) held at Taman Mini Indonesia Indah (TMII), East Jakarta, starting November 29 to January 12.

The spectacular show of the stuntmen performing dangerous scenes in this film is held by CRK Entertainment in collaboration with the Indonesian Motor Association and PT Transjakarta.
Muhammad Chandra, CEO of CRK Entertainment said, these foreign stuntmen will demonstrate several dangerous scenes, such as driving a BMW E35 and E46 car with a tilted position on two wheels. They will also display attractions using formula cars, bajaj, Kawasaki 636 and CBR 600 motorcycles.
"There will be 20 cars from Italy that will be brought in. There are also local stuntmen who will join this show," he said, Tuesday (10/22).
There will be two to four shows during the weekend at 1 PM, 3 PM, 5 PM, and 7 PM. But there will be two or three shows on weekdays.
"1,750 spectators is the capacity for one show," he added.
TMII Commercial Director, Mita Ratih added, preparations have been made since July, through MoU cooperation with the organizers. Her side prepared a venue in the West Plaza and there are UMKM tents, grand stands and others.
"Ticket prices are Rp 185,000 to Rp 250,000 with four types namely silver, gold, and platinum," she added.
Meanwhile, PT Transjakarta Director, Welfizon Yuza, explained his side also cooperates with organizer as public transport.
"We'll operate special Transjakarta bus for the spectators," he explained.
This event is also appreciated by DPD Chairman, Sultan Bahtiar Najamudin. He assessed that this international event will be able to boost both local and national economy.
"I believe many international events to be held in Jakarta soon," he said.
