City Council's Commission E Supports 4,127 Honorary Teachers Promoted as KKIHe explained the Link and Match program between education and industry could answer the current problem of job shortages. One of the things that had been done was sending vocational school graduates to several countries such as Japan and South Korea.
"Based on the information I received, this year there are around 20,000 workers who have been sent to the two countries," he explained.
According to him, the government should be present as a bridge to channel workers, including abroad. Hence, cooperation in sending workers could also be carried out with other countries, such as Australia, New Zealand, Middle East, United States, and Russia.
"We must not lose our program to other provinces. If for example 100,000 of our children work as diaspora abroad, at least 100,000 times four people per family, that means 400,000 will escape the poverty line," he said.
