Traffic arrangement to be applied tonight from 9 PM to Friday (10/24) at 5 AM on Jalan Jambore, Cibubur, Ciracas, East Jakarta. It is because there will be culvert box installation of water channel project by jacking method.

East Jakarta Water Resource Sub-agency's Development and Drainage Escalation Section Head, Tengku Saugi Zikri, said the crossing will be installed along 13 meters by using culvert box in size of 1.2 meter by 1.2 meter depth.

"Traffic arrangement to be applied tonight on Jalan Jambore for the sake of resident security," Saugi said.

He added that the culvert box installation will be run in two stages or two days namely today by six meter and tomorrow by seven meter.

Meanwhile, Jalan Jambore water channel project manager, Onasis Sitanggang, explained his side has cooperated with Transportation Sub-agency and Traffic Area Unit (Satwil Lantas) of East Jakarta for assisting the traffic arrangement.

His side, he added, has also installed announcement banners, lights and traffic direction signs to help motorists passing by.

"The installation will be carried out at night for not disrupting the traffic since the area is quite busy with passing vehicles," he explained.

After installing the culvert box, it will be covered using steel plates so that vehicles can pass through. Then it will be fully concreted after all culvert boxes are installed.

Ciracas Transportation Sub-district Implementer Unit Head, Agus Heryawan, stated his side deploys 12 personnel during the crossing installation. They will be deployed in shift from morning to evening assisted by police personnel.

"Traffic will be diverted to Jalan Abdurahman, Caglak and Jalan Lapangan Tembak," he stated.
