DPRD Legislator Supports Development of Cakung Integrated Barat Area

Jakarta DPRD Commission D legislator, Ghozi Zulazmi supports the acceleration of development of the West Cakung Integrated Area, East Jakarta.

According to him, it is one of the aspirations of the community that is conveyed to him during his visit.
"My first focus is in Cakung Barat, there are several programs proposed by the community. One of them is the continued development of the Cakung Barat Integrated Area," he expressed, Friday (11/8).
Commission B Legislator Urges People to Reduce Plastic PackagingHe explained this area was built on nine hectares of land which would be equipped with various supporting facilities such as the construction of a regional hospital, parks, urban village offices, and others.
According to him, the arrangement of several facilities in one area would facilitate the public to access public services. Currently, several facilities have been built, including flats and sports arenas.
"Our homework is just RSUD, mosque, park, revitalization of urban village and Gulkarmat offices," he explained.
He asserted the completion of the development of this area is highly anticipated by many. Moreover, it has been included in the Jakarta Government's development plan several times.
"It has been included in the planning several times. This year, the community is pushing for it to become an aspiration conveyed in the RKPD 2025," he added.
He hoped that it could become a new center for the community to obtain optimal services with adequate infrastructure.
"The need for synchronization between agencies in its development. The development plan must also be based on proposals from the community to provide optimal benefits," he explained.
He also reminded the Jakarta Government to pay attention to the maintenance of facilities that have been built, namely by preparing the budget for maintenance.
"Environment Agency builds TPS for instance, then it is handed over to the urban village, whereas their budget is low. When synergy is integrated, not only the construction but also the maintenance must be integrated, the use must be integrated," he added.
He also urged the community to be involved in the supervision of each facility to be built in the area.
"Don't let development happen, it turns out it's not what the community needs," he said.
