As many as 800 personnel of South Jakarta Satpol PP at city, sub-district, and urban village levels are ready to guard the implementation of Jakarta Gubernatorial Election 2024.

Acting South Jakarta Sarpol PP Head, Rahmat Efendi Lubis said Satpol PP personnel are also involved to guard the voting area and ballot counting.

"Satpol PP personnel are deployed from city to RW or residential levels," he said, Friday (11/8).

Lubis added that South Jakarta Satpol PP also ready to support the logistic transportation by deploying operational vehicles.

South Jakarta Satpol PP will cooperate with Army/Police as well as KPU and Bawaslu relates with the election stages implementation.

"The campaign period is until November 23, 2024 and the quiet period starts on November 24, 2024. Then, for the voting on November 27," he added.

During the quiet periods, Satpol PP personnel will be deployed to assist controlling the campaign props on the street and up to residential area.

He hopes that with good synergy from all OPDs and the community, the implementation of the Jakarta Gubernatorial Election 2024, especially in the South Jakarta area, will run smoothly and conducively.

"Let's us create conducive situation during the election periods. Use the voting right wisely," he stated.
