The ranks of Central Jakarta administration and City Council (Dekot) held a meeting and social gathering with residents of Tanah Abang Sub-district, Wednesday (10/30).

In the activity held at Guntur Park RPTRA, Jalan Danau Batur, RT 10/03, Bendungan Hilir Urban Village, residents conveyed 30 aspirations to members of the City Council and the ranks of the City Government.
Central Jakarta Government Secretary Assistant, Denny Ramdany, said the activities packaged in the Serap Aspirasi Dekot program are routine agendas every year and are held in rotation to eight sub-districts.

Besides discussing aspirations, the meeting involving 150 RT/RW administrators, LMK, FKDM, Karang Taruna and community leaders was also used to socialize the Regional Head Election 2024 (Pilkada).
"We're socializing the regional elections, because some, especially new voters, need to be educated more," he asserted.
Central Jakarta Dekot Chairman, Ardy Purnawan Sani explained 30 aspirations of residents were conveyed at this meeting, including a request for a pedestrian bridge (JPO) in Gelora Urban Village across the railway tracks.
Then regarding the submission of CIP and CAP in several residential areas and the existence of a number of electricity poles that interfere with the road.
Regarding the residents' aspirations, he admitted that he would immediately coordinate with the related parties to ensure its continuation.
However, if these aspirations were not realized yet after his term of office ends, he ensured that the elected City Council would continue to monitor and follow up it.
"So, there are five that we can execute today. The rest we will convey to the mayor," he said.
