The Jakarta Health Agency (Dinkes) awarded the RT 07/02, Tanjung Duren Selatan Urban Village, Grogol Petamburan Sub-district, West Jakarta as the second winner in the category of Smoke-Free Village Establishment Initiative at the Jakarta Province level.

The award was presented at the celebration of the 60th National Health Day in 2024 with the theme 'Moving Together, Jakarta is Empowered' which was attended by Health Vice Minister, Dante Saksono Harbuwono.
Tanjung Duren Selatan Urban Village Head, Indri Prawiji admitted he was proud of the success of establishing a Smoke Free Village (KBAR) in RT 007/RW 02. This success was thanks to the support and commitment of residents in maintaining a smoke-free environment.

He assessed forming a smoke-free village is most important to get support from the community. Then, involving RT and RW administrators to make a commitment to form a smoke-free village to instill awareness in residents not to smoke.
He hoped that the RT 007/RW 002 initiative could become an example of a healthy environment. He also encouraged the expansion of the program to the RW level or other urban villages in West Jakarta. That way, this initiative could be an example in maintaining a sustainable smoke-free environment in Jakarta.
"Hopefully, the scope can be wider. Not only at the RW level but also at the sub-district level to form a smoke-free village. So, not just one point, but for all sub-districts in West Jakarta," he hoped.
