Minister of Housing and Residential Area (PKP), Maruarar Sirait said his side will assist the construction of vertical housing for RW 12 residents, Tanah Tinggi Urban Village, Johar Baru, Central Jakarta.

There will be four floors

"I will help the vertical housing. Sub-district head will collect the priority resident data," he said during his visit on the location, Monday (11/11).

Maruarar explaied the priority category for residents of this housing complex will be residents who are economically disadvantaged, elderly and in dire need of decent housing.

 According to him, the construction of this vertical housing is a real manifestation of the mutual cooperation movement involving all parties without using the state budget. This housing will be built on land owned by those who agree to be consolidated.

"There will be four floors and occuppied by four families," he added.

Maruarar requested sub-district and urban village ranks to collect the data for speeding the construction process.

"I request urban village and sub-district ranks to collect data in a week. The residents should occupy the house in three weeks in later," he continued.

Johar Baru Sub-district Head, Nurhelm Savitrie appreciated the PKP Minister to construct the vertical housing without using state budget.

She promised to soon collect the resident data and determine the proper location for the vertical housing.

"We'll check it first. The location is in RW 12 area of Tanah Tinggi," she admitted.
