South Jakarta Administration held preparedness roll call to face rainy season, at local mayor office, Wednesday (11/13).

Munjirin said that the preparedness roll call was held to anticipate and ensure that problems arising from the rainy season, such as flooding, fallen trees and so on, are handled.

Munjirin also requested related stakeholder to mapping location prone to inundation, landslide, and fallen tree. Then make sure the evacuation route amd infrastructures.
"Place personnel and equipment at prone locations before disaster happens. It is aimed to speed up the handling," he added.
Munjirin continued preparedness is not only before or when a disaster occurs, but after a disaster, all elements must be able to carry out the process of cleaning and handling the affected location optimally.
"I ask heads of urban village and sub-district to activate disaster handling post by applying integrated picket with three pillars, civil servant, PJLP, and other stakeholders " he continued.
Munjirin also wants related sub-agencies to run their duty based on SOP and responsively such as Water Resource Sub-agency and Bina Marga Sub-agency with their water pumps. Then Transportation Sub-agency and Satpol PP to deploy their personnel in assisting traffic arrangement and security of disaster area.
City Park and Forestry Sub-agency must also ready to monitor prone to fall tree. Social Sub-agency, Health Sub-agency, BPBD, Fire Handling and Rescue Sub-agency must also have good cooperation.
"Hopefully today's roll call will let all ranks to work well in anticipating rainy season in South Jakarta," Munjirin stated.
