With Abundant Educational Sites, Pramono Promotes Study Tour in JakartaThe Wayang Museum has undergone a revitalization and reopened in early January. Rano admitted that he was amazed to see children watching the wayang performance. They even memorized the stories of wayang.
"I really encourage children to take a study tour to the museum," he expressed.
He believed that the revitalization has transformed the Wayang Museum into a modern one, incorporating digital and immersive technology, such as Augmented Reality (AR), Virtual Reality (VR), and Mixed Reality (MR) with a Super Hologram Area.
Moreover, this museum also features a 360 Immersive Room, Interactive Digital Games, and Interactive Ramps that can be enjoyed by all groups.
"This is a bonus. I am honestly a bit surprised," he added.
According to him, Wayang Museum's revitalization serves as a success example and can be replicated to develop other museums in Jakarta.
"The museum is not only an educational site, but in the future, it will also equipped with a variety of interesting entertainment for families. This will certainly boost visitor numbers," he conveyed.
Enhancing the functionality of museums by incorporating Immersive Technology, he mentioned, is crucial for achieving the goal of becoming one of the top 20 global cities.
"When it comes to culture, the biggest challenge we face is museum revitalization. Of course, we need to revitalize all the museums in Jakarta," he concluded.
