The Jakarta student martial arts contingent won seven gold medals, seven silver medals, and five bronze medals in the Solo Pra Popnas 2024 event.

This exceeds our target, five golds

Jakarta Martial Arts Team Manager for Pra Popnas 2024, Yusnus Burhan explained the martial arts competition was held at the Lorin Hotel Ballroom, Wednesday (11/13) to Sunday (11/18) night. Overall, Jakarta won medals in 18 of the contested events.

"We bring home seven golds, seven silvers, and four browns. This exceeds our target, five golds," he expressed, Monday (11/18).

He explained the gold medal was won by martial artist Sadam Alsyaukani in the men's singles class, the men's doubles pair Putra Agung Sanjaya and Rakha Putra Pratama, and the women's team Dara Ayu Putri Anggraeni, Shintya Rahmawati, and Sekar Arum Dwi Putri.

Then in the women's class A, there was Rizka Maulida Achmalia, the men's class B was Noval Pratama Gusma, Muhammad Luthfeil Hakim in class G, and Muhammad Edhar Putra Rizqi in class I.

There was also silver from women's singles athlete Zyvanna Aurora Desqirana, men's team Ibrahim Athar Mahameru, Zhahir Maullana Alie, and Wirahadi Winata.

Then in the men's class D, there was Muhammad Ridwansyah Hakim, Aulia Safitri in the women's class D, Nasywaa Zaahidatul Marwa in the women's class G, and the men's class H, Naufal Insani Bardiman.

As for the brown, it was achieved from the double women team, Artika Saraswati dan Bevin Narzita, Raesa Damayanti in class E, Ray Dahlan Febrian Bagas in the men's class F, and Chelsea Zakia in the women's class F.

"These winners qualify to represent Jakarta at Popnas 2025 which will be held in Aceh - North Sumatra," he added.

During the event, there were several evaluations conducted by the coaching staff so that the athletes' performance could be maximized during Popnas 2025.

"Hope we can do the best result in the upcoming Popnas 2025," he hoped.
