Acting Jakarta Governor, Teguh Setyabudi accompanied Vice President Gibran Rakabuming Raka monitoring the free nutritious food (MBG) program at State Extraordinary School (SLB) 5 Jakarta and State Elementary School (SDN) 15 Slipi, West Jakarta.

Teguh said the management and distribution of free nutritious meals was managed by the National Nutrition Agency (BGN) and the Nutritious Food Service Unit (UPMB) near from the school.

"There are 11 school to run the MBG trial," said Teguh, as quoted from Jakarta Provincial Government's press release, Tuesday (11/19).
Teguh added that for these two schools, the central government through BGN provided 565 nutritious food packages, with a price Rp 15 thousand per portion.
"One portion contains rice, egg, stir-fried chayote and tempeh, oranges or watermelon, and milk. The packaging is also environmentally friendly and can be reused. So it's not disposable plastic or paper, but a reusable container," he added.
According to him, the nutritional composition of each food package has been adjusted to the needs of each student at various levels of education, namely 450 to 600 calories.
Teguh explained the MBG program in Palmerah Sub-district has been running since November 18 and to be ended in December. He makes sure the program is also under security check of Jakarta Health Agency.
Food portion for public and private school students, Teguh continued, should not different. MBG trial will also be applied for all school in Jakarta.
