He hopes this program can be continued to gibe positive impact on students. Teguh emphasized that the menu provided should be more varied while still adjusting the calorie needed by students.
"While waiting for further instructions from the central government, we will also make improvements to the various evaluations that we have done," Teguh stated.
Meanwhile, Acting Jakarta Regional Secretary's Assistant of Community Welfare, Suharini Eliawati, explained her side will involve Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) to determine the MBG menu while waiting for guidelines from the central government.
"We must hold trial to know what menus that children like. Then whether the menus that children like are in accordance with their calorie rules and needs. Each school level is different. Different calorie calculation is also different for breakfast and lunch. Based on Acting Governor's instruction, we continue to involve our MSME partner with strict curation. For example, must be consumed under four hours," she explained.
One of students of SMAN 69 Jakarta, Keysia Putri Sanjaya (17), said she liked with the menu provided and was grateful that her school was visited for the trial.
"It tastes good and my friends also like it. Now I try it myself where previously I saw it on TV," she said.
She hopes the program can be continued especially for all school on Seribu Island.
