Flood Victims in Cilandak Timur Receive Logistical Aid

The South Jakarta Social Sub-agency sent logistical aid to residents of Jalan NIS RW 03, Cilandak Timur Urban Village, Pasar Minggu Sub-district, South Jakarta whose houses were flooded due to the overflowed Krukut River.

South Jakarta Social Sub-agency Head, Bernard Tambunan said that on Tuesday (11/19) at 11 PM, his party had started distributing aid to residents in evacuation locations.
"We immediately sent the aid after we coordinated with the urban village apparatus and local environmental administrators," he expressed, Wednesday (11/20).
Floods in Cilandak Timur Recede CompletelyHe detailed, the aid distributed was six sacks of rice, 11 boxes of biscuits, six boxes of soy sauce, six boxes of oil, 50 cans of sardines, 10 towels, 10 doormats, 10 floor wipers, 10 floor cloths, 10 floor brushes, 10 scoops, 10 bottles of carbolic acid, 10 dustpans, 10 boxes of sanitary napkins, eight boxes of diapers, and 10 floor mattresses.
"Hopefully, it can lighten their burden. Certainly, we'll keep coordinating with other elements to handle all forms of disasters, especially in South Jakarta," he explained.
Cilandak Timur Urban Village Social Welfare Section Head, Daryanto expressed his gratitude to South Jakarta Social Sub-agency for its quick action in assisting residents.
"For food and drink aid, we at the urban village have been providing it to residents since last night," he stated.
