Commission B Supports Nakertransgi Agency to Multiply Job Training

The Jakarta DPRD Commission B Chairman, Nova Harvian Paloh supports the Jakarta Manpower, Transmigration and Energy Agency's efforts (Nakertransgi) in providing job training for the community.

According to him, providing job training was beneficial for job seekers to have skills according to industry needs, as well as developments in the era and technology.

"I think there has been progress so far. For instance, now there is training for mixing coffee or being a barista and even servicing AC," he expressed, on the sidelines of the RAPBD 2025 discussion, at Grand Cempaka Resort Bogor, West Java, Thursday (11/21).

He explained the job training provided must be right on target, thus training participants can stuck in various companies and industries.

"Hopefully, the Nakertransgi Agency can innovate in organizing creative programs so that the community has the opportunity to create new jobs," he explained.

According to him, they must also be able to create human resources (HR) who are specialists in various fields.

"These job seekers need to have very specific skills, not only domestically but also internationally,"  he explained.

Jakarta Nakertransgi Agency Head, Hari Nugroho uttered various superior training programs had been prepared for job seekers. The training programs are prepared to help prospective workers get greater job opportunities. The training program was designed to help prospective workers gain greater job opportunities.

"We have prepared superior programs, including if someone is laid off, we will immediately train them," he stressed.

He added the agency has 18 training programs and 81 vocational programs are prepared to make Jakarta a Global City.

"By so, the job seekers will have wider job opportunities because they also get a certificate from the National Professional Certification Agency (BNSP)," he added.

His party also provided training according to the industrial needs map in each region.

For North Jakarta, the training provided was more related to warehousing, etc. As for the training provided in Central Jakarta and South Jakarta was like offices and hotels.

"There is language training, office administration, content creators, and culinary arts. To run this training, we prepared a budget of up to Rp 100 billion," he explained.

According to him, the agency has also worked with many companies to channel prospective workers who have received training.

He hoped that these various efforts could reduce unemployment rates and help solve poverty problems.

"We suppress our unemployment rate. We're preparing modern training places," he closed.
