10 Trees on Jalan Daan Mogot Kedaung Kali Angke Pruned

West Jakarta City Park and Forestry Sub-agency pruned 10 trees on Jalan Daan Mogot, precisely in front of Transjakarta Pesing Pool, Kedaung Kali Angke Urban Village, Cengkareng Sub-district.

Cengkareng Sub-district's City Park and Forestry Implementer Unit Head, Hotman Marudut, said the 10 pruned trees were eight tanjung trees, one kedondong tree and one banyan tree.
"The pruning was run based on resident's request," he said, Friday (11/22).
Preparedness Roll Call, Jakarta Provincial Government Emphasizes Importance of Anticipation and MitigationHotman added his side deployed six personnel to prune the trees. Hopefully the pruning will prevent fallen tree during rain accompanied with strong wind.
Ali (51), Transjakarta Pesing Pool security officer, appreciated the pruning. Moreover, now Jakarta has entered rainy season.
"The pruning gives security and comfort for residents," he stated.
