N. Jakarta Vice Mayor Distributes Assistance to Flood Survivors in Sukapura

North Jakarta Vice Mayor, Juaini Yusuf distributed assistances for flood survivors at refugee camp in SDN Sukapura 02 Pagi, Jalan Tipar Cakung, Sukapura Urban Village, Cilincing Sub-district.
The impacted areas are RW 01, 05, and RW 10
Juaini said that the logistics are being distributed to several refugee camps in four sub-districts in form of food and clothes.

Juaini explained that the assistances were the result of synergy of Social Agency, Social Ministry, Regional Disaster Handling Agency (BPBD), Indonesian Red Cross (PMI), Police, and Army.
Meanwhile, Sukapura Urban Village Head, Ahmad Rosiwan admitted there are two refugee camps in his area namely SDN Sukapura 02 by 67 refugees or 23 families, and Musholla Al Hikmah by 40 refugees or 13 families.
"The impacted areas are RW 01, 05, and RW 10. They took refuge since Wednesday (1/28) night," he admitted.
According to him, flood that hit Sukapura was caused by high rainfall that made Cakung Lama and Kelapa Gading Rivers overflow.
"Hopefully the flood will recede fully today, so the residents are able to go home," he added.
One of residents RT 19/01, Bambang Abidin (56), appreciated the North Jakarta City Administration to give assistance for the flood survivors.
"Thankfully the assistances are distributed directly to them," he stated.
