Entering a quiet week ahead of Jakarta Regional Head Election (Pilkada) 2024, Acting Jakarta Governor, Teguh Setyabudi together with the Regional Leadership Coordination Forum (Forkopimda), General Election Supervisory Body (Bawaslu), General Election Commission (KPU), and representatives of the winning team of the governor and vice governor candidate pairs inspected the process of removing campaign props around Jalan Cempaka Putih, Central Jakarta, Sunday (11/24).

It aims to create public order

Acting Governor, Teguh ensured the entire Jakarta area was cleared of campaign props in a bid to create order entering the quiet week of the Pilkada 2024 and making Jakarta an example for other regions in orderly election regulations.

"This operation is focused on campaign props installed on the roadside fence, as well as on the pedestrian bridge (JPO). It aims to create public order during the quiet week of Pilkada," he expressed, as quoted by Jakarta Government's press release, Sunday (11/24).

Its operation involved personnel of Jakarta PPSU, Parks and City Forest Agency (Distamhut), Water Resources Agency, and Satpol PP.

Therefore, he urged all people not to be apathetic and to be actively involved in smoothing the Pilkada 2024 by using their voting rights for the progress of Jakarta in the future.

"Don't be passive and to get involved in using their voting rights for the progress of Jakarta. Let's make the Pilkada in Jakarta a success together, maintain this synergy for a better Jakarta," he concluded
