Dukcapil Agency Extends Population Service

Jakarta Provincial Government through its Population and Administration (Dukcapil) Agency extends population service on November 26-27, 2024. This is aimed to support the implementation of Gubernatorial Election in Jakarta.

Dukcapil Agency Head, Budi Awaluddin said the extention of population service is in line with Acting Jakarta Governor Teguh Setyabudi instruction to ensure that the process of issuing new ID cards related to the submission of voting rights during the regional elections can run optimally.

"All service in urban village, sub-district, city and up to agency are ready to serve residents. The service is focused on printing and recording new ID card related to voting right," he said, Tuesday (11/26).

Budi added the population service on November 26, 2024 will serve up to 10 PM. Then on November 27, 2024 or on voting day will serve from 8:30 AM to 1 PM.

Moreover, the agency will also hold mobile service during the voting day for those who celebrating 17th birthday as new ID card holder by 458 people in Jakarta.

"We remain hold population service even though November 27, 2024 is decided as holiday," he stated.
