Pilkada Campaign Props in Jakarta Lowered

It was done to prevent unwanted things during the quiet week of the Pilkada in Jakarta.

"If it rains, the roads are slippery. Likewise, billboards must also be taken down with extra care," he explained.

East Jakarta Satpol PP Head, Budhy Novian added the operation involved 1,000 personnel.

"At the city level, the focus of the reduction is big billboards measuring 10x4 meters. For sizes below that, it is the responsibility of the urban village and sub-district level apparatus," he explained.

Thus far, the number of props lowered was still being recorded because it was still waiting for reports from the regions. Those props lowered were then taken to each sub-district.

"Last night, all billboards and billboards on the main road were taken down. If there are still any, we will continue today. The target is that all the props are clean today, none are still perched," he continued.

He mentioned two big billboards were taken down on Jalan DI Panjaitan.

"Then in front of the Rawamangun Terminal, there is one billboard, Jalan Raya Bogor two billboards and at some other points," he said.
