Residents living on Jalan Pembangunan Tengah, RT 07/12, Bintaro Urban Village, Pesanggrahan Sub-district, South Jakarta, can now use Community Based Total Sanitation (STBM) or Communal Toilet.

Pesanggrahan Sub-district Vice Head, Putut Puji Linangkung said the communcal toilet is very good, as it is the government's commitment to eradicating environmental problems, especially those related to Open Defecation (BABS).
"Construction costs come from City Budget (APBD) which we work on together with the local environmental management and residents," he expressed, Tuesday (12/10).

"We want to be able to keep it nice and clean, as this is to create a good, healthy and beneficial environment for residents," he explained.
Bintaro Urban Village Head, Riza Fauzi explained the communal toilet built in early November and inaugurated yesterday, is built on an area of 2x4 square meters with two floors.
"On the top or second floor there are four bathrooms. Hopefully, this toilet will be useful, especially for approximately 60 target residents," he stated.
