Currently, three evacuation posts had been set up around the fire location, precisely at SDN 09 Kebon Kosong, Al Ikhsan Mosque, and Yusuf Hamka Field. Then health post had also been set up with the support of the medical team, the Health Center Emergency Ambulance and PMI.
Even, various aid had also been distributed, including packaged rice meals three times a day, basic equipment for fire victims and so on.
"We also send the educational needs of affected children including school uniforms and supplies, hygiene kits, and other needs will be adjusted to the needs of fire victims," he explained.
He added the Jakarta Population and Civil Registration Agency (Dukcapil) also set up a service post to help fire victims proposs burned population documents, such as e-KTP, family card, birth certificate, and others.
"We're committed together with the related parties to give the best service for fire victims in Kebon Kosong," he uttered.
He asserted the Jakarta Government would coordinate with related institutions and ministries in handling the fire-affected areas because not all of the land affected by the fire was under the authority of the regional government.
"I haven't made a decision yet, but I had a discussion with some residents about relocating to the flats. Meanwhile, the assistance given to fire victims is according to need," he asserted.
As for the information, fire burned 200 houses in RT 02 - 09/RW 05, Kebon Kosong Urban Village, Kemayoran Sub-district on Tuesday (12/10) afternoon. It was triggered by an electrical short circuit in one of the houses, causing 600 families or 1,800 people to lose their homes.
