140 Damaged Roads in West Jakarta will Be Repaired

As much as 140 damaged roads that spread in West Jakarta will soon be repaired. To optimize it, the channel alongside the roads would be normalized first.

We'll use hotmix method to repair the damaged roads, especially in flood-prone areas

1,964 Damaged Roads in Jakarta Repaired

Those damaged roads are detected in eight urban villages. They are Tambora (20 damaged roads), Cengkareng (17 damaged roads), Kalideres (24 damaged roads), Taman Sari (12 damaged roads), Grogol Petamburan (16 damaged roads), Palmerah (13 damaged roads) Kebon Jeruk (23 damaged roads) and Kembangan (19 damaged roads).

Head of Maintenance Division for West Jakarta Bina Marga Sub-Department, Amrih Priyo Widodo acknowledged the roads will be repaired using hotmix method and parts of roads will be concreted.

“We'll use hotmix method to repair the damaged roads, especially in flood-prone areas,” he stated, Friday (5/22).

The reparation that will spend Rp 75 billion is going to be started in Jelambar Urban Village, Grogol Petamburan, due to most roads are severely damaged. 

“Especially in Grogol Petamburan, we plan to spend Rp 24 billion,” he disclosed.
