The North Jakarta Parks and City Forest Sub-agency (Tamhut) has noted that as many as 7,714 trees have been pruned and cut down in North Jakarta from January to November 2024.
Hopefully, it can minimize losses due to fallen and broken trees
Green Belt and Cemetery Section Head, Habib Prabandoko explained the 7,714 trees were pruned from six sub-districts.
"We had to cut them down when they become rotten," he expressed, Thursday (12/12).
Nine Trees in Ciracas and Kramat Jati PrunedOf 7,714 trees pruned, 277 were cut down, 1,339 were pruned at heavy level, 5,505 were pruned at medium level, and 593 were pruned at minor level.
Aside that, personnel also
evacuated 13 broken trees and 177 fallen trees.He asserted that his personnel were still on standby in the field which aimed to anticipate unwanted things.
"Hopefully, it can minimize losses due to fallen and broken trees in the rainy season," he hoped.
