Video Mapping and Dancing Fountain at Monas, Be There!

Monas Management prepares entertainment in form of video mapping for its visitor during Christmas and New Year Eve celebrations.

Moreover, Monas operational hours will be extended up to 10 PM in every weekend.

Monas Management Head, Muhammad Isa Sanuri said the operational hours during normal weekend is 8 AM to 4 PM. Then it is extended to 10 PM ahead of Christmas and New Year Eve celebrations since Saturday (12/14) ago.

"It will be implemented only this month. There will also a stage to entertain visitors in December 31," he said, Monday (12/16).

Isa added that there is no entrance tariff for visitors. But there are retribution tickets for those who want to enter Museum, Independence Room and Cup Yard by Rp 3,000 for children, Rp 5,000 for students, and Rp 8,000 for adults.

Then visitors who want to go to top of Monas, retribution tickets are Rp 6,000 for children and students, Rp 13,000 for college students and Rp 24,000 for adults. Payment may use JakCard card.

"We prepare 2,400 tickets in weekend and 1,800 tickets on weekday," he added.

Isa continued that video mapping will be run at Silang Selatan Monas on December 25-27 and 31.

Christmas video mapping will be played on December 25-27 in two sessions at 8-8:30 PM and 9-9:30 PM. The duration will be 15-20 minutes.

Video mapping theme for December 31 is about new year and welcoming the fifth century of Jakarta. It will be played based on new year celebration agenda.

Another entertainment is dancing fountain. It will be held at 7:30-8 PM and 8:30-9 PM.

"Dancing fountain on December 31 schedule is also based on new year agenda. Another fountain and lighting are also prepared for December 28-31," he stated.
