According to him, residents could multiply the cultivation of fish that eat Aedes Aegypti mosquito larvae in their environment.
"We also need to use the natural enemies of mosquitoes. Thus far, dengue fever has been breeding in clear water, clean enough water in channels, and puddles that do not have fish," he expressed, Thursday (12/19).

"We can use the clear channels or release catfish seeds in there. Thus, the mosquito larvae will disappear by themselves with natural predators," he explained.
He also urged residents to be creative in preventing the spread of dengue fever. Thus, at the peak of the rainy season, dengue fever cases do not increase in Jakarta.
"It doesn't have to use fogging or Abate powder. Residents must be creative, don't wait for handling from the local government," he explained.
He also supports efforts to prevent the spread of dengue fever conducted by the Jakarta Government through its cadres in the community.
According to him, the anticipatory steps taken by RT/RW administrators, Jumantik, Dasawisma coordinators, and LMK were quite effective in controlling the transmission of the dengue virus.
"Technically, it has been handled at the urban village level, such as Dasawisma going from house to house and Jumantik. This is quite effective, I think it can overcome dengue," he closed.
