The Jakarta Population and Civil Registration Agency (Dukcapil) has won the Public Information Openness Award, which was held by the Jakarta Information Commission (KI).

This award was given to 67 public bodies deemed to have the best performance in providing information to the public, moreover, the Jakarta Dukcapil Service is one of the public bodies that received the Informative predicate.
Jakarta Dukcapil Agency Head, Budi Awaluddin said the award is the result of commitment and hard work in providing the best service to the community.

Last year, his agency achieved the title of Towards Informative. Then, this year, his party succeeded in improving the quality of information services to receive the Informative predicate with improvements to the Information and Documentation Management Officer (PPID) and guidance from the Jakarta Information Commission.
"We're committed to maintaining this title in the future," he explained.
To maintain this title, he emphasized the importance of friendly service, compliance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), eradicating extortion, and resolving every public complaint.
“Complaints can be in the form of letters, direct visits, or comments on social media. Quick and appropriate responses are key,” he added.
As for the information, this Public Information Transparency award was given in various categories, namely 67 public bodies received the Informative predicate, 99 public bodies Towards Informative, and 60 public bodies Quite Informative.
