 835 Warga Nikmati Mudik Gratis di Terminal Bus Rambutan

835 Residents Enjoy Free Homecoming Trip at Kampung Rambutan Terminal

As many as 835 residents participated free homecoming trip at Kampung Rambutan Bus Terminal, Ciracas, East Jakarta, Tuesday (12/24). They were departed by using 30 buses.

Their data was already verified

The activity was led by the Secretary General of the Indonesian Ministry of Transportation, Tatan Rustandi, accompanied by the Jakarta Transportation Agency's Terminal UPT Head Syamsul Mirwan, East Jakarta Health Sub-agency Head Herwin Meifendy and Kampung Rambutan Bus Terminal Head Yulza Ramadhoni.

Yulza said that those 835 passengers were departed to several cities in Central Java, East Java and Yogyakarta such as Wonogiri, Madiun, Cilacap, Solo, Surabaya, Semarang, Malang, Wonosobo, Kediri and Purwokerto.

2,731 Passengers Depart from Tanjung Priok Terminal

"Their data was already verified based on their ID card and registration," he said.

He added that this program is held by Director General of Land Transportation, Ministry of Transportation. His side supported the departure and verified the homecomers data.

Saeful (38), one of the homecomers heading to Purwokerto, thanked and appreciated the government for providing this free homecoming trip.

"We're happy with this program. We registered the program via online and today we're departed," he admitted.
