Three Spots to Enjoy New Year's Eve Celebration in Jakarta

Celebrating New Year’s Eve might not feel complete without watching festive music. The following are three spots in South Jakarta to enjoy New Year's Eve celebration together with your family.

Come, come, celebrate your new year with new spirit

South Jakarta Mayor, Munjirin said three recommended spots to enjoy New Year's Eve celebration were at Setu Babakan Betawi Cultural Village's UPK Amphitheater, Jagakarsa Sub-district; on the east side of Kalibata Plaza, Pancoran Sub-district; and Deppen Field, Pesanggrahan Sub-district.

"We prepared them for South Jakarta residents to celebrate New Year's Eve without having to crowd into one location," he expressed, Monday (12/30).

He invited his residents to come to the location with joy to celebrate New Year's Eve with family, relatives and friends.

"Come, come, celebrate your new year with new spirit and may this new year be a good start for a better life in 2025," he explained.

South Jakarta Tourism and Creative Economy Sub-agency (Parekraf) Acting Head, Puji Hastuti uttered the New Year celebration at three spots on December 31 is started on 7.30 AM to 1 PM which falls in January 2025.

According to her, there would be performances by famous artists such as Opie Kumis, Putri KDI, and lenong artists and local Betawi bands from South Jakarta. Not only that, the MSME bazaar was also slated to liven up the New Year's Eve.

"Let's celebrate the new year and the excitement of Jakarta going global welcoming the five centuries of Jakarta with joy. Bring the best impression in welcoming the year 2025," he uttered.
