524 Honorary Teachers in W. Jakarta Received ZIS Aid

The West Jakarta Muslim Charitable Donations Board (BAZIS) gave charity, donation, and alms (ZIS) amounting to Rp 393 million to 524 honorary teachers of Elementary School (SD), Junior High School (SMP), Senior High School (SMA), and Vocational School (SMK) in West Jakarta.
Of the Rp 393 million, each teacher received Rp 750,000
West Jakarta BAZIS Office Head, Jamhuri disclosed the aid is aimed to lighten the honorary teacher's burden, considering its wage is still low.

He explained the amount of ZIS aid this year is increasing than last year, which was Rp 500 thousand.
“Through this aid, I hope teachers could improve their performance and remain actively participate in the target of ZIS achievement in West Jakarta, concerning its revenue is still lower than other cities in the capital,” he disclosed.
