Jakarta City Council's Commission D legislator, Nabilah Aboebakar Alhabsyi supports the Jakarta Provincial Government's effort in optimizing the activity monitoring at park or public open space.

Nabilah said that the optimization is needed to prevent crime, public order violation, or damage to park as public facility.

She added that the monitoring optimization can be also run by using technology such as closed circuit television (CCTV). Then every park or public open space is equipped
with loudspeaker."The CCTV must be monitored from the control room. The security officer will inform through the loudspeaker if there is any violation potential," she added.
She assessed that this policy needs to be run to support the elected governor and vice governor, Pramono Anung-Rano Karno, who will conduct park activation at night.
"Strict regulation from the Jakarta Provincial Government related to public space management is also needed," she continued.
Nabilah also appealed the Jakarta Provincial Government to increase the education for residents about their rights and responsibilities in public spaces.
"Park usage regulation can be also attached at each park as the socialization," she said.
She stated that public spaces can be inclusive and comfortable place for residents though strong collaboration program between public space management, community, and the government.
