167 Pets in Menteng Dalam Received Free Anti-Rabies Vaccine

South Jakarta Food Security, Marine and Agriculture Sub-agency held free anti-rabies vaccination in Menteng Dalam Urban Village, Tebet Sub-district. As the result, 167 pets received the vaccination.

Tebet Sub-district, Food Security, Marine and Agriculture Implementer Unit Head, Hairul Ihsan said those 167 pets were given vaccine during January 21-23, 2025 at three different locations.

Anti-Rabies Vaccine Given to 286 Pets in Koja Urban Village

"The services were held at Secretariat Building of RW 01, RW 03, and Menteng Dalam Urban Village Office," he said, Friday (1/24).

Ihsan explained that those pets were 147 cats, 18 dogs, one monkey, and one weasel.

He hopes the free anti-rabies vaccination program will maintain Jakarta status as free rabies city.

"I appeal the South Jakarta residents to routinely participate in the program by monitoring the schedule on our Instagram account namely Sudin KPKP Jakarta Selatan," he added.

Meanwhile, Menteng Dalam Urban Village Head, Dina Roslina thanked the sub-agency for providing the service in the area for three days.

"We surely appeal the residents to maintain their pets health by participating this program," she admitted.
