Pegangsaan Dua Urban Village Head, Sarmudi, said the area is still inundated by 60 cm due to overflowing Cakung Lama River since Tuesday (1/28) night.

Sarmudi added that PPSU personnel were also deployed to clean water channel and flood-waste to smooth the water flow.
"We can not predict how long they will take refuge since the water level remains the same as before. Hopefully rain does not fall that can trigger overflowing river," he added.
Meanwhile, Kelapa Gading Water Resource Implementer Unit Field Coordinator, Abdul Azis admitted the Sunter River water level remains high. Six roads in Kelapa Gading Sub-district are still inundated by 20-30 cm.
"We rely on pump house in Kelapa Gading to handle the inundation. We also prepare mobile pump to assist the handling," he admitted.
The inundated roads in the morning were Jalan Boulevard Utara, Jalan Pegangsaan Dua, Jalan Kelapa Hybrida Raya, Jalan Boulevard Barat Raya, Jalan Kelapa Nias Raya, and Jalan Boulevard Raya.
"The Blue Taskforce personnel have handled the inundation last night," he admitted.
