E. Jakarta Social Sub-agency and PMI Distribute Assistance to Flood Victims

East Jakarta Social Sub-agency and Indonesian Red Cross (PMI) distributed assistance for flood victims in a number of locations, Wednesday (1/29).

"The assistance is given according to the requests of each urban village ,"

East Jakarta Social Sub-agency's Social Rehabilitation Protection Section Head, Deni Triyanto conveyed, his side distributed assistance in form of 40 boxes of instant noodles to RT 03/06, Pulogebang Urban Village.

In addition, 1,000 meal boxes and bottles of mineral water were also distributed to Cakung Timur and Rawa Terate Urban Villages and 1,750 meal boxes to Kayu Putih Urban Village.

"The assistance is given according to the requests of each urban village. So far, only four urban villages have asked us for assistance," he mentioned.

Meanwhile, East Jakarta PMI's Public Relations and Communication Section Head, Agus Bastian said that his party had distributed 2,000 pcs of bread, 20 pcs of mats and three boxes of pampers for residents affected by flood in Rawa Terate Urban Village.

"We supply bread and mineral water for today's breakfast. This is to follow-up the request from the urban village," he stated.
