East Jakarta Social Sub-agency and Indonesian Red Cross (PMI) provided assistance to fire victims on Jalan Cipinang Lontar RT 14 and 15 of RW 06, Cipinang Muara Urban Villlage, Jatinegara. The fire that hit 13 tenement houses occurred on Friday (1/31) at around 9:35 PM.

As well as 20 folding mattresses, 20 men's underwear, 20 pairs of women's underwear, 20 nightgowns, 20 collar shirts, five sacks of baby pampers, 10 toothbrushes, 10 toothpaste,10 packs of liquid soap and 10 packs of shampoo.
Meanwhile, East Jakarta PMI's Public Relations and Communication Section Head, Agus Bastian added, his side provided dinners for fire victims for seven days, from last Saturday to Friday, and four other items.
"We also provide 24 packages of staple food, 23 mats, 23 hygiene kits and two boxes of toddler pampers," he stated.
Currently, the fire victims are staying at Musala An-Nur, not far from the fire scene. The fire caused one residents to suffer burns when falling down the stairs to save himself. The victim was rushed to Budhi Asih Hospital for medical treatment.
