New Water Channel Construction on Tidung Island Completed

Seribu Island Water Resource Sub-agency completed the new water channel construction on residential at RT 01/04, Tidung Island Urban Village, Seribu Selatan Island Sub-district.
The construction was started on January 15
Seribu Island Water Resource Sub-agency Head, Mustajab, said the channel construction was part of local resident's request since the area was often inundated.

He added that the channel is built along 60 meter and completed with four absorption wells.
"The well size is 40x40x50 cm. It is connected to each other by using six inch pipe," he added.
According to him, nine Blue taskforce personnel were deployed during the construction.
"Hopefully the local residents also maintain this newly built water channel. Please contact us if there is still inundation or problem with the channel," he continued.
Meanwhile, one of residents living at RW 04, Tidung Island Urban Village, Jamal (42), admitted happy with the channel realization.
"I hope there will be no more inundation around the area," he stated.
