South Jakarta City Park and Forestry (Tamhut) Sub-agency will build new parks in Fiscal Year 2025.

South Jakarta Tamhut Sub-agency Head, Djauhar Arifien mentioned, the new parks will be built in Jagakarsa and Pesanggrahan Sub-districts.

Parks that will be built on an area of 8,000-9,000 square meters, he added, will be equipped with various supporting facilities, such as bus stops, toilets, jogging tracks, children's playground, rain gardens, and retention basins.
"The size is quite large, so it will be also equipped with urban farming area that can be used by local residents or farmer groups," he expressed.
The parks, which are planned to be built in June until the end of 2025, are expected to add green open spaces that are safe and comfortable for residents.
"Hopefully, the e-Purchasing that we do after Eid or in April 2025 will run well, thus the park can be built soon to provide great benefits for the community," he conveyed.
